DDoS Against MyDynDNS Nameservers

At approximately 1000 UTC today the MyDynDNS nameservers became the targets of a distributed denial of service attack. These nameservers provide DNS service for our Custom and Secondary DNS products. During the attack there were brief outages of ns1.mydyndns.org and ns5.mydyndns.org, though not at the same time, and at no time were all five nameservers offline.

Service was restored at approximately 1115 UTC and all services are currently working normally.
